Shumi Japanese Cuisine

Unfortunately I can't really say much about Shumi. We went there for lunch and were kinda disappointed. The place looks nice and fresh and service is good as well, but there is really nothing to remember (exept the price). Really tiny sushi (like really small pieces of fish). Ceviche was ok, on the menu it's said with vegetables, but all it had were shallots and a little avocado? Poke bowl was ok, but again you can have it anywhere. With so many sushi places available in Ridgewood you can have a better experience than here. Nothing really to remember that would drive you back.

This is a small place with a certain charm. Good for the usual weeknight dates with the Wife.

Great new place in town, a bit pricey but sushi was amazing
